Mission, Vision + Goals

Hui o Hau`ula is a 501c3 non-profit in the Ahupua'a of Hau`ula in the Ko`olauloa District on Oahu. We manage the Hau`ula Community Center at 54-010 Kukuna Road in Hau`ula, Hawaii 96717.

Hui o Hau`ula created a Partnership Hub that includes many other non-profits that serve our communities in Ko`olauloa District, including Ka`a`aw`a, Kahana Valley, Punalu`u, Hau`ula, Laie and Kahuku. Hui o Hau`ula manages the Hau`ula Community Center through a license agreement with the City and County of Honolulu.

The Center has continued providing services throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic providing over 50 weekly Food Box distributions and 50,000 meals to Kupuna, Keiki, Families impacted by Covid -19 and the Houseless. We're continually adjusting services to address community needs.

Our Mission Statement

"We strive to support the health, safety, educational, cultural, environmental, social, and economic resilience of Ko'olauloa communities through supporting civic and social engagement, volunteerism, fiscal support, and partnerships with local, city, state, and national agencies/ organizations."

Ko`olauloa Resilience Hub  

The Ko'olauloa Community Center & Resilience Hub concept was created by HOH in partnership with the Honolulu City & County Office of Climate Change Resilience and Sustainability. We would love to have your help, together we can build a more resilient community! Some highlights of what we've done so far:

  • Comprehensive Emergency Plan developed

  • $25,000 grant from City to Preposition Emergency Supplies and Equipment

  • Distributed “Hau’ula Family Emergency Handbook” to all residents
